College Bike Shop, Lansing Michigan
Are there any members here that have experience doing business with this Honda/Kawasaki dealer in Michigan? Thanks.

I haven't dealt personally with them but they have been around for a long time. Verify whether it is long term ownership or if it has changed hands in the fairly recent past.

Thanks for the response 2oldbikes. I wondered if they were no longer in business because I've emailed them over a week ago and again on Tuesday with no reply from them either time.

Their facebook page shows recent activity, in fact as recent as today, so they must be still in business.

I've dealt with them numerous times in the past. In fact that's where I bought my present 94A new. 191k and purring like a kitten. Also bought my first 'real' motorcycle (Honda 90) there back in 1964.
However, when I was there last summer I asked about long term owner Doug Sears and was told he finally retired a couple years ago. Parts dept still seemed fine, though. YMMV.

Thanks Ron. After waiting for a reply to my original email back at the beginning of the month, I phoned them this morning. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service I got from the parts department. Nick was the person I talked to. He is one of the very best people I've dealt with in retail sales. He confirmed the parts were in stock, he sent me pictures of the parts to my email so I could see what he had, he accepted Paypal for payment and is handling the mailing of the shipment for me. I'd give this bike shop 100% rating for sure! If you need parts for any Japanese motorcycle in Lansing go see Nick in the parts department.

Glad it worked out for you.
I may stop in just to say Hi when I'm back there next month.
