Three days ago, I had a puncture flat on the rear (toward the center) of the 1500. I plugged it, but some here wisely suggested I get a patch on the inside. So I took it to the shop & he tried to tell me that the patch might go loose.
He said he woudn't do it & suggested I get new tires on at another shop.
They said Michelin Commanders. What do u think? There's still 50% left on these tires

Tires have been patched from the inside for more than 100 years.
properly done, with a dremel tool to scuff it up, apply the cement,
light it on fire a few seconds, and apply the patch.
Properly done, it will out last the tread.
if that still worries you, get the Ride On product.
