Insta trike and bike insurance

Hi there, when you fit an Insta trike kit, do you have to tell your insurance company, if so, how do insurance companies react to them.
is it considered a modification or an accessory,

Not knowing what insurance company you have, no way to answer your question. You should call your agent.
Most likely completely different in France from here in the US.

When my brother had his Roadsmith trike the bike was insured as normal, entire Roadsmith trike kit was insured as an accessory. But as tfdeputydawg said while probably be different where your at.

When I bought my trike and put insurance on it, they asked me if my trike was a kit or manufactured like the Harley tri-glide. Since mine is a kit it was considered an accessory so I had to up my accessory value to cover it.
