PLedge and Bees
Has anyone who uses Pledge (orange flavor) noticed that it attracts bees? Last year I was on a ride to San Saba, TX. and sitting at the light on Main street bees started swarming around me. I thought it was strange, but since I had all my gear on I didn't have any problems. I rode two or three miles to a pecan orchard and parked. Bees swarmed me there to the point that I had to wear my gear inside the building. I haven't used it in a while and have had no more problems.

Did you know that when bees suicide on your windshield, they release a pheremone that draws other bees? It might be that, rather than the pledge. Or it might be the pledge. I also use lemon pledge, and have not in a while since getting the scratch fix stuff, but I still get bees attracted to the pheremones of suicidal ones.

A smashed bee smells like bananas, and that causes other bees to swarm. Did you have a banana in your back pocket?

Interesting as heck, as it also mentioned citrus, or at least lemon is alluring to the same bees as bananas irritate.tamathumper wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2019 7:54 am A smashed bee smells like bananas, and that causes other bees to swarm. Did you have a banana in your back pocket?![]()
