Re: Prices
^ that's a ridiculous response. Maybe that's the most you'd pay, but, in good condition, it's worth way more than $1500, no matter where you live.

Re: Prices
I gave a price of what I've seen them go for. Higher are asked and those set on the market a long time, on the east coast and the west coast.
Plus no pictures given to judge by, just someone's words and minimal at that.
You can believe what you want. The fact is the market is in a deep slump on used wings. To you, your bike is worth what you want to try to get. But facts are facts, there are minimal new wing riders coming along, let alone new riders period, so there are fewer buyers that are willing to buy at ' it's worth this much and I'm taking no less'.
Your response minimac was out of line.

Re: Prices
Just from curiosity I checked out Denver Craiglist.
1500's ranging in price from $2200 for an '88 with 66k to $5500 for a '97 model. The mid 90's models listing around $3-4K.
What surprised me is the 1200's are still listing at $1500-$3000, average around $2500.
The oldest 1800's can be found starting at $4K now.
Mind, this is Denver area listings, and these are asking prices, not necessarily what $ actually changes hands. But I'd say the average prices on 1500's are down probably $1000 or so from what they were three years ago when I was actively shopping.

Re: Prices
I agree with Denver Winger as far as pricing. The bike in question is #1-being resold at a dealer. That means it has to be good enough for the dealer to stand behind it. Dealers do not resell 25 year old bikes unless they're in exceptional condition or classics. #2 You're right, there very well may be less new wing buyers out there- that alone makes the market for older wings better. # 3 You stated $1500 TOPs for the age and the miles. Sixty eight thousand miles is considered low miles- especially for a Goldwing of that age.newday777 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 10:10 pm I gave a price of what I've seen them go for. You may not agree, but I stand by my comment, and I would be willing to bet most would agree with me on that pricing for the reasons I stated.
To the O.P.- that seems to be a more than fair asking price.
