LED Headlights

Post by in2it »

I read a article that described how and what to buy to replace the headlights on a 2000 1500A to LED ... well I cant find it... hoping for some help in finding it... I believe it was Wing Admin who did a review.... I find it frustrating knowing what you want to find and cant.... duh ... So I would be appreciative if someone would/could lead me through the pasture in finding the article

I think you're talking about this thread.

Do bother to try to cheap out. Buy the electrical connection bulbs only.

I just had a customer cheap out after sending him this link. He decided to try the Showchrome cheapies instead. Well he ended up with problems with the Showchrome. He spent $60 instead of the $100 for the EC lights. Lost money buying them and installation costs twice...... I warned him before ... But your choice will have results......

I’ve had good luck with the OPT7 LED headlights. Have used them on my other bikes and on a 1500 they stick out slightly less than the Pathfinder ones which makes it WAY easier to get the headlight assembly back in correctly without the back of the LED hitting the frame behind the headlight assembly.
