Gadget Bar

Post by woodysjrny »

I made a gadget bar for my 2007 GL1800 HPNA Roadsmith Trike this last weekend.
I know there use to be a company that made the cross bar, but as others have done, gone out of business.
Here a couple of pics. I still need to paint the bar and purchase the end caps.

2 each of the following:
RAM Motorcycle Brake/Clutch Reservoir Double Ball Base
RAM Strap Hose Clamp Ball Base
RAM Composite Double Socket Swivel & Ratchet Arm
1- 1" O.D. x 14" tubing of your choice. I used aluminum because that is what I had in the garage.

Figure out the geometry of your choice and mount your gadgets.
As for the stuff on mine,
Motorcycle Phone Mount with Charger 5V 2.4A USB Port Install on Handlebar Mirror Bar. Leepiya Cell Phone Holder Suit for iPhone XR Xs Max Xs X 8 7 6 P
Honda Freewire
AKEEYO Motorcycle Dash Camera, IP67 Waterproof FHD 1080P Front and Rear 120° Wide Angle 3 Inch IPS Screen with WDR, Supercapacitor, G-Sensor, Loop Recording

Nice idea but not wise. You have to look down from your line of sight of the road to see.
I prefer to use the Firecreek Farkle Shelf for mounting gadgets above the dash. Easier to keep an eye on the road.....
