USA places traveled map

Post by dlewis1906 »

I have seen several members with color coded images of the USA where they have traveled in their profiles. Where are you getting them?

I really get irritated though, when folks make that image way too big in their signature.

purty please, keep it down small, like 200 pixels high.....
if there was a way to turn off Signatures only for specified people, I would do it.

There's a very simple way to block only certain people's signatures, on any forum. Or to block any element on any website, for that matter.

I can only give the instructions for Chrome, but they're similar for other browsers.

1. Install an ad blocker, in this case uBlock Origin.
2. Right click on the offending element, in this case, joe user's signature image.
3. Select "Block element...".
4. If you want to see what it will look like without that element, click "Preview".
5. If you would rather pick a different element, click "Pick" and select again.
6. When satisfied, click "Create".

From now on, you won't see that element again unless you remove the rule or disable uBlock Origin.
