Hi Guys n Gals, I am the owner of a 1981 GL1100D (B) and more recently a 1997 Valkyrie. I know it's NOT technically a Goldwing but does have the 1500 engine... any thoughts, like/dislike.. don't wanna talk about it?

The Valkyrie is this generation's "naked" Wing.
It's what you ride when you want the "classic" big-bike look without having to carry a list of towing company phone numbers.
