A teenage dream

Post by Karlott »

Hi you'all.

Just wanted to introduce myself and tell little about my Betsy.
I bought her in 2018/2019 and got her shipped from Florida to Iceland in March 2019. Since then it has been sandblasted and powdercoated and renewed in so many ways. I got her started about 2 weeks ago and she runs, but in need of few fixing. Just wanted to show you a picture :)

Thanks for the compliments!
Actually, my bike is not the only GL1000 in Iceland! Maybe one of the first from factory and perhaps the one of two which are candy blue green ;)
Now I got a new "original" fuel pump and soon going to get the carbs syncronized.
Looking forward to driving it!

Next will be to paint what needs to be painted, fans and leftside cover. But first riding it ;)
