Yes we rode through and camped in the area too. So when I retired what better place to be?
I think Idaho has better inland riding but once you get close to the beach Wow!

try the cowboy trail east of fernie at Lunbreck go north on 22 (Cowboy Trail) and stop in Longview tavern on your right...cant miss it 30 bikes out front great wings/beer...from there head west and then across to highway 40 north....geographical porn...amazing ....that will dump u out on the trans canada and from there u can west to canmore/banff.... as u enter alberta from Bc on highway 3 the Frank landslide is a great area to see...

highway 40 through kananaski country is alberta's best kept secret bike road

Ridden all of it at one time or another but not as a loop. Its been a long time since but there is a loop from Canmore up to the Spray Lakes and back to 40 as well,, think it was gravel then maybe not now.
