COVID's over

Post by GoldWingrGreg »

When I was picking up parts at a Honda dealer yesterday, I was told that the market is quickly changing to a buyers market, and having to pay list price for a new toy is quickly becoming a thing of the past. Basically, what I saw was a packed showroom with lots of product for sale. COVID's over !!!

if it was a buyers market, wouldnt the showroom be empty? BTW ther are still showrooms that have 15 year old bikes in them. from the last time the economy took this big a hit.

Here in the Tampa area, some showrooms were so empty that dealers changed their hours from being open 7 days a week to 5. What was in the show rooms, and to fill up floor space, the showrooms were full of non-desirable models like entry-level SeaDoos, and China brands such as Kayo, and CFMoto. Now the showrooms are quickly filling with desirable product. It appears the supply chain is filling quickly.

Unfortunately covid is far from being over yet. It is just getting under control more than it was.

I have a friend of mine currently in the ICU fighting for her life from COVID. A physician friend of mine here in Ohio told me that they're still seeing around 700 COVID admissions a week across Ohio. Those are people sick enough to be admitted to the hospital.

So no, it's definitely not over.
