99 Valkyrie Interstate

Greetings Goldwingers! I've enjoyed this site for a few years and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Greg. I live in Northern CA and I've owned my 99 Valkyrie Interstate for four years and absolutely love it! Goldwingdocs has been a great source of inspiration as well as just plain old fun. My bike has quite a lot in common with the vintage Goldwings. I appreciate the tech topics since I do all of my own work (including removing and replacing those 6 carburetors!!) Welcome to the forum. I still miss my Valkyrie from time to time.

Feel free to post a How-To Article on remove/repair/reinstall those carbs.

Hi Andy thanks for your reply. I did remove and replace my carbs but I sent them to "Flat Six Carburetors & Service" in North Carolina for the rebuild. David and Jared are very good at what they do and they're nice guys too! I highly recommend them. I could probably do an entire "how to" on just preparing and shipping the carburetors across the country! Doing the actual job is more than enough work for me. I can't imagine trying to make a how to article or video on top of all that. I tip my hat to all the guys that do make the effort to produce these types of things. Thanks again for your reply
