New Goldwing Adventure Bike

Post by AceCycleNut »

Just messing around this morning and I ran across this video. Looks like Honda is getting on the BIG adventure bike craze.
I don't know, but it looks pretty expensive. Then again a BMW ain't cheap either!
What do you all think about it?

That's the dumbest thing I've ever seen.
Even if it's lighter than the road bike, it can't be THAT much lighter.
A 750 pound adventure bike??
I'll pass.

That is FAKE. I am not sure why someone took the time to make that video. I am not sure why I watched it.....

But what do you really think? That's the sort response I was expecting.
Look at how tall that thing is! I would need a step stool to mount up. And just keeping it upright would be a challenge. I have fallen off of horses that were closer to the ground than that thing is. It does seem like a few OTHER manufacturers are gunning for the Goldwings crown though. Will the Wing be a thing beyond 2025? I'm interested to see what Honda does. I just hope it's not this.

    Fake? Probably.
    Dumb? Definitely!

Or take it upon yourself to make what you want.

This is obviously fake, and the image of the bike has many hallmarks of a (poorly) generated AI image (notice it munged the logo and says "BONDA").

The "what you want" part. What I "want" looks a lot like what I already have. ;)
While doing a project like that might be entertaining. To me it's sort of like making a sows ear from a silk purse. IMHO.
