Closing in on 100,000 members

Post by WingAdmin »

As I write this message, we are at 99,306 members and counting. We are within striking distance of 100,000 members. I have two questions for everyone:

1. What date do you think we will hit member 100,000?
2. Should we do anything special for member #100,000?

Knowing that traffic on the site slows down in the winter months, with January and February definitely being the slowest months...I'm going to put my guess for member 100,000 at February 20th, 2025. Anyone else want to venture a guess?

Perhaps we could have a prize for whoever guesses the closest date?

While I was looking this up, I thought; "I wonder what topic on the site has been viewed more than any other?"

The answer? This topic on sticking rear brakes on GL1100's has been viewed 932,767 times!

Who knew so many people had problems with the rear brakes on their 1100's?

Thanks so much for keeping this site up & going! I know it must be a hassle but this has helped me keep my old Goldwing up & running. Really appreciate it...... JG.

I wish I had belonged to "Goldwind doc when I had that same problem with my 1100 1983 wing! I have an 89 now. Brakes work fine.
