I have my 72 CB750k2...which is a 72 frame and 72-76 everything else. Also the 84 Aspencade..which by year makes it old..but I don't see it that way since it looks and rides like new. Besides, it is a WING...they never get old..some are just not cared for properly...

Great point on the Wing. I guess that is why I didn't list my '81 as Vintage.

Goldwings are like fine wine. They only get better with age. :D

binder81,
Nice, Nice job on the repaint. It looks great.

I am already thinking maybe next winter to do that (paint). Doing all the maintaince updates this winter.

Spring is just around the corner....problem is even though it has been a mild winter, spring in the midwest can sometimes make us wait too long to ride.

I have my nice, white 1986 GL1200 Aspy trike. Is that considered "vintage"? By number of years, maybe yes, and maybe no. But as far as the joy I get when riding it, AGELESS and PRICELESS !!!

From being "plate" eligible I guess every state has it own rules...here in TX it is 25 Years. But, you must think about it because when you have the special plates, technically you are not supposed to use the bike except to go to "events and shows", or for service/repairs. Another benefit here is that you no longer have to get safety inspections..

I started out motorcycling on what is now a vintage bike. At that time is was a 17 year old Honda CBX. Great starter bike eh!

Actually owned two CBX's at one time but have since moved on. However my love for the older bikes is still there. Currently looking at picking this 1975 GL1000 up. Unfortunately it needs a new engine. Popped out of gear and over revved and something inside tried to come out through the engine case. I have an engine out of a 79 that I have to go through. It was supposedly rebuilt a few years back and has just sat since. Hoping all is okay with it. When it's done it will be a sweet looking bike.

Such a beautiful bike...Everytime I see one is cherry condition I think about the 75 I had for so many years...Hope you get it up and running real soon, like by the time your riding season starts.

Now she's real naked! Had to strip her down to pull the brake lines to send to Spiegler for some braided stainless ones Still gotta pull the rear fender for paint too. Now that she's unridable, we should be getting some really warm weather

Vintage bikes, I have two and a half. The half is a mini trail 50 that was a gift to my sister and me in the early '70s. First bike I purchased is a 1975 CB550F Super Sport in the late '80s. I completed a Saddle Sore 1000 on it last summer.

Last year I purchased a 1985 GL1200A. Took it out for the first time this season on St Patrick's Day.

My 94 Aspencade is getting 'close'. Does having 186,000 one owner miles help? 😊 I also have a 76 Wing that I thoroughly enjoy riding. (See my avatar).
