How to free up those tiny pistons on the float valves.

Place the valve in a small empty container (lid off a can of WD 40 works) and put it in the freezer for 20 minutes.
Boil a glass of distilled water (I used the Microwave).
Drop the frozen valve into the boiling water.
If it doesn't work the first time you might have to cycle through the process again.
The pistons on all 4 of the float valves on my project were stuck and this method freed them up when nothing else worked. One valve required a second cycle. The other 3 freed up on first attempt.
Once the pistons were moving, I let them soak in penetrating oil overnight, just to be sure they would continue to operate, then sprayed them with a little carb cleaner and blew them dry with compressed air then verified that they were still moving freely..
