It's a bulb - an H4 bulb, that is inserted into the reflector.

It's relatively easy on an 1100...I believe a 1200 requires removing some of the front garnish and trim. A 1200 owner will have to speak up on this one.

Pull the rubber back on the mirrors, remove the top bolt and loosen the lower bolt.

As always thanks for the great information. If someone could post this in the HOW TO ARTICLES it may be helpful to others.I know I have picked up a lot from it .
Also can someone send me info on a good on line place to buy parts in Canada.

Thanks again

I'm interested in replacing my 1984 Aspencade's regular headlight with an LED equivalent to put less of a load on the electrical system. I may also replace the turn signals with LED equivalents, but that would also require changing out the flasher relay, I think. Can anybody confirm this? I don't know what relay Honda used in the 84. Was it the mechanical one that requires resistance or an electronic one that would be LED compatible? Also, what LED bulb would be good for the headlight, etc.?
