horn blowing

horn blowing
well now to the wire stuff well ever time I turn the key on the horn blows non stop theres a bare piece of wire if I touch it to metal it will stop blowing, but seems like it lost a ground some where any ideas
on the ride of life I preferr to do it on a goldwing ride safe

Don't touch that wire to ground,it's hot.
The horn circuit provides 12 volts to the horns and the other wire goes to the handlebar button.Push the button to ground it to blow the horn.
With this information,whatever you were bolting back on has most likely pinched a wire.
The horn is fed by a 15 amp fuse and goes to the pushbutton switch on a light green wire.
To find the short,either inspect the harness or substitute a light bulb for the horn and work your way from the button back.

ok thanks that gives me something to look for also found out today the turn signal on the left side not working the bulb is goos checked that so deff have wires messed up some where
on the ride of life I preferr to do it on a goldwing ride safe

At least they keep all the colors the same.which brings up a point.the horn wire is light green and the ground lines are dark green.plug on the lite green to the dark green it will blow the horn all the time the key is on.

well spayed some wd40 and played around with it and it started working passed inspection today took it for a ride before I got cought in the rain hope to ride again tomarrow morning before the rain starts again if not it will probly be monday before I can ride again thanks to everyone that helped me
