I have a Zumo 550 I play mp3 music through the aux input. I have been getting an intermittent poor sound quality about 1/2 the volume and sounding like in a tunnel.
Any thoughts what might be causing this? I checked the ground wire and it looks good.
The unit is 5 years old and it just started showing up at the end of last season

This can be caused by an out-of-phase signal (that's the "tunnel" effect you get). It was actually just talked about recently - check out this topic: /forum/viewt ... 16&t=10478
