7" Sealed Headlamp Upgrade?
Greetings, has anyone found a good product to upgrade an original 7" sealed beam unit to a modern H4 for brighter night driving? I have a 1978 GW with Vetter Fairing.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I just put an LED sealed beam on my 82, works great. I will see who the manufacturer is but not sure if it's available. It came off a prototype military truck.

Seems bright but will let you know after driving in the dark. I can tell you though that it is definately more noticeable during the day.

Re: 7" Sealed Headlamp Upgrade?
Got my bike back together yesterday and rode in this morning. The beam is definately brighter than the halogen, not as bright as a HID but nonetheless, bright. Is it worth the 250?? I think so as long as it lasts. Trucklite does give them a 3 year warranty and how it holds up to abuse is pretty impressive, they have comparrison test on amazon.WingAdmin wrote:Is it as bright as the original halogen headlight?joeswing wrote:I just put an LED sealed beam on my 82, works great. Re: 7" Sealed Headlamp Upgrade?
Just got the new Adjure lens. MUCH brighter than the semi-sealed beam original I had.
