7" Sealed Headlamp Upgrade?

Post by moose4jesus »

Greetings, has anyone found a good product to upgrade an original 7" sealed beam unit to a modern H4 for brighter night driving? I have a 1978 GW with Vetter Fairing.

Thanks!

I just put an LED sealed beam on my 82, works great. I will see who the manufacturer is but not sure if it's available. It came off a prototype military truck.

Seems bright but will let you know after driving in the dark. I can tell you though that it is definately more noticeable during the day.

Got my bike back together yesterday and rode in this morning. The beam is definately brighter than the halogen, not as bright as a HID but nonetheless, bright. Is it worth the 250?? I think so as long as it lasts. Trucklite does give them a 3 year warranty and how it holds up to abuse is pretty impressive, they have comparrison test on amazon.

Just got the new Adjure lens. MUCH brighter than the semi-sealed beam original I had.
