installing Deer Alert
I own a GL1800 2008. I bought the Deer Alert and want to use it with the Kuryakyn accessory swith instead of the switch that is provided with it. Not sure how to ground it. Any help would be appreciated.
Keep the shiney side up and rubber side down.
Enjoy the ride.
Enjoy the ride.

Re: installing Deer Alert
Without knowing which Deer Alert you bought (there are many), and how the Kuraykin switch is wired, it's pretty hard to tell.

You could put a wire to pretty well any metal part of the frame...but I don't think it's going to make the deer alerts function any better (i.e. won't scare any more deer away!)
