Honda srvc manual question

If a given Wing`s build date is 6/81, and the model year is 1982, and the bike has a `83 fuse box, does the owner / mechanic use a `82 wiring diagram or an `83? Somebody posted recently about a problem he`s having and this question came to mind. Anybody know?

If the model year is an 82 then you should go by the 82 wiring diagram. That said, the wiring really didn't change THAT much between model years in the 1100.

I agree. Really my thought was for all who read the post to realize this kind of info maybe shouldn`t be considered as "etched in stone".
