Throttle sticking

Post by GiantDon49 »

I have an 83 Aspencade and I tipped it over (ouch!) and now my throttle is sticking. I have no problem pulling it on or pushing it off. I want to take the hand grip and throttle lock off to see if I can fix it, but I can't figure out how to take them off and could some advice on this. Thanks

Did it drop onto the throttle grip? If so you might only have to get the grip pulled back again. Might only be pinched. When I replaced the foam grips on my bike I pushed the throttle grip on too far and had the same issues. I just pried it back a bit and worked fine.

Thanks for your advice. It took longer to find a screwdriver than it did to fix it.

Glad to hear you got it fixed. Always best to look at the easy things first.
