clean windshield.
What should i use to clear up the windshield for my 76 gl1000. Best way to describe it as foggy. glasscleaner won't get it.

Re: clean windshield.
Fog most likely caused by age degradation of the polycarbonate shield material(unless someone tried putting RainX on it!).
Maguires markets a kit to remove this discoloring(haze) from polycarbonate headlamp lenses. IT WORKS!
Follow the instructions carefully and you, most likely will have to do both sides of the shield.
Be advised, this will most likely result in removal of the "hardcoat" that was on the shield. Be careful what you clean it with-it will scratch as easy as acrylic shields!
