clutch fluid

I would like to replace the fluid for the clutch. If I open the bleeder will it drain out without operating the clutch lever and I can just keep putting fresh fluid in the reservoir until fresh fluid comes out of the bleeder ?

That is called gravity bleeding and is slow but it does work in some applications, although I have never tried it on the clutch fluid on Gold Wings. If it does work it will just be a very slow drip, and if you have the time I guess go for it. But it is so much faster to pressure bleed the system and not that difficult.

Thanks bustedwing---I was kinda hopen it would just run out and I could have fresh fluid in a few ! Guess I need a helper !!!!

i haven't blead the clutch on my 1500 wing yet but if its like my 1200 you won't need any help
