Windshield

Post by Wolfster »

Hi everyone...I have a question about windshields and would like your help in choosing one. I have one now without a vent and was wondering if one with a vent is better...and is it for cooling or fogging? Which one do you recommend? Thanks!

The vent is to allow air on you. With a taller wider shield, it is a necessity for me.
If you want to buy the last windshield you ever need to, then please take a look at the offerings from http://www.f4customs.com/

Another good choice to take a look at is the CeeBaileys product line http://www.ceebaileys.com/honda/index.html. I have had their windshield on for two seasons now and it still looks like the day I put it on. After a trip to Alaska and some rather aggressive paint removal after some idiot forgot how far the dang paint mist would carry from outside the garage!

I got the one with the standard vent and would not go back to a non-vented shield. I have not tested it in foggy conditions, but it has spent a LOT of miles in the rain.

They have been good to deal with and will customize the height for you.
