Felt washers

Post by Stephen »

I think that I may have a small problem. As I was removing the center bolt for the main throttle spring the felt washer that is behind the throttles spring fell out. It was ripped and crushed  so it looks like whoever worked on this last did not make sure it was in properly. Where can I find replacement for this? Or do I have to try and manufacture my own. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What year/model is your bike? That would have some bearing on what my decision would be (replace/fabricate).

Hmm...I suspect the chances of coming across that exact washer at a Honda dealer is pretty slim. If you can measure it, your best bet is probably to find a reasonable replacement, somewhere like here.
