identify this part

Post by twostrokes48 »

This set of crash bars came with a 75 gl1000 I bought. The guy said he didn't know if they would fit, but gave them to me anyway. Obviously, they didn 't fit..Anyone have any idea what years it will fit if any?
If I know, can try to resell them and buy correct ones.
tks

They're not from a 1200. They do look like possibly early '80s Silverwing though (not 100% sure though). Good luck!

I may have this set to part with. Been re-plated too.

Shipping from Canada may prove pricey though.

Well, that does look like it might be it on the 1100....of course I said the same thing about the pic of those for the 1200....shoot, maybe I'll just have to put them up with a pic and say they are supposed to fit goldwing and let the buyer figure it out. I don't want to say it fits one and then it doesn't...But no rush, will keep checking around and looking at what you'll post....I already bought another set for my bike off ebay. Thanks for all the possibilities.
