1985 interstate height

Just bought a goldwing for the first time. I am only 5' 4' tall, what can i do to lower the bike so I fell confortable, I would like to be flat footed when at a stop.

Trimming the seat foam helped me, and getting riding boots with thick soles/heels. Try those first, as they are relatively easy to do. In my opinion, modifying the chassis is the last resort and is almost never necessary.

I agree Ive talked to a few honda owners and they think removing the foam and replacing it with a gell pack is the best way to go. thanks for your reply. T

Reshaping/replacing the foam should also include trimming off some of the foam on the side. This should allow your legs to remain closer together and thus reach down further. Worked for me.

nice to meet you, yes my name is terry holder I live in mass. thanks for the info I plan to have the seat redone very soon, I know it will be much more confortable to ride. Thanks T.
