Regarding Windsheilds

Post by grider »

I have a 1983 Aspencade. I would like to cut a little off the top of the wind shield. Has anybody done this. I have trimmed aircraft wind shields but never a motorcycle. Any ideas on this would be appreciated. :

Have done it with other windshields. Fine tooth blade in a jig saw. Masking tape on the jig saw foot and on the windshield. Files and sandpaper to make it nice.
"It´s a friggen motorcycle, it´s not supposed to be comfortable, quiet or safe. The wind noise is supposed to hurt your ears, the seat should be hard and riding it should make you s**t your pants every now and then. "
