Old worn out hardware
Hello all. I recently purchased a 82 gl1100 standard and am in the process of sorting out all of the bugs and problems that came with it. It's not in terrible condition but has probably been sitting for 10 years and came with the expected rust and crust. Question is does anyone have a source for oe or oe looking hardware? I loosened the clamp bolts for the forks to straighten the front end and both chrome upper bolts were striped. Actually all the nuts and bolts are rusty and look bad. Any ideas or sources ur happy with? Wasn't happy with what I've found at local hardware stores and I'm new to this old bike thing. Thanks in advance.
