Left side antenna

Post by NKYWinger »

I'm looking for a non-CB antenna that'll work on the left side; I have seen the mount extensions that bolt to the trunk rack to allow for an antenna on the left side, but never a plain antenna.

This is, frankly, mostly cosmetic, as the main reason I'm wanting a matching antenna is to be able to fly my US Navy flag :=}

Any links would be great!

Peace out :D

Rather than an antenna that you are not going to use, why not get a dedicated flagpole. With a flag mounted on an antenna and you moving your GW at more than walking pace, there is considerable force being exerted on the mounting.

Using Mr Google, there are a number of options available for mc flagpoles, but this could be interesting:

The world is not going to finish today, as it is already tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand, and other islands of foreign nations such as Guam and Samoa.

I agree. I have had a very small flag on an antenna snap the antenna right off at highway speeds.

Can you not just fit a radio antenna on the left side. Retro fitting should be possible, and you probably trip over them in the US.

If at first you don't succeed, hide the evidence.
