What is the easiest/best way to get the Honda emblem off of the front trim on my '86 Aspy without destroying it?
It seems the bracket on the back of the trim has vibrated loose from the mounting screws and the only way to get to them is by removing the emblem.
Thanks, Rich

Are they pop rivets on that large piece of aluminium? If so, just drill them out, but be careful you dont go all the way. Usually with rivets as soon as the 'washer' part is released the rest of it will come away. HTH

Nope they aren't rivets, they are screws. Just after I posted this thread, it dawned on me to try and use a heat gun on the back side of the trim to loosen the adhesive and gently pry the emblem off and it worked.
I screwed the bracket back on and added a little locktight to the threads and reinstalled the trim.
Now all I have to do is find an adhesive to put the emblem back on.
Thanks for the reply.
