brake bleed question

Post by Joe A »

Hello, New member here. First off this site has been valuable already. I rebuilt the front calipers on my interstate thanks to a tutorial one of the members posted. Thank you!
I rebuilt the right side last nite and tried bleeding this morning before doing the left side. I'm using a vacuum blender to no avail. When I loosen the bleesder it leaks at the base and no joy. What in the name of all that's holy am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

It sounds like your bleeder is plugged up.Remove it and clear the hole then try again.

Check this out. I had checked the bleeder before posting and it was clear. I finally checked the bleed adapter from my harbor freight vac bleeder and there was no hole! Small drill bit and I completed the manufacturing process for our friends in China :D having done that it works fine.
