I have 1985 Goldwing Interstate that has been down now for almost 10 months, you can look at by past post and see what kinda problem I was having. I was advised to put seafoam and drive 100 miles to remove sludge from starter clutch, will in the process, after 50 miles, the motorcycle just cut off. Trailer it home, change pulse generators and the starter worked fine, but because after finding out later timing was wrong it would not start. Then I got hit head-on in my Silverado about a week later. Well after 7 months of been limited to a wheelchair and becoming very bored, I jacked up motorcycle where I could get to it and set the timing, but because it has sit up again the starter clutch was not engaging and I could not drive it, I decide to pull the motor and clean it myself in the wheelchair. I jacked it up in the center of garage, and rolled around my bike a 10000 times, but put the engine and reinstalled it by myself, I going to clean the carbs good and then start it up, I ghope.
I really thought my riding days were over until I saw some traing wheels. I would like to pay somebody to make a set for my Goldwing. I understand it will take some welding, and I just can not weld. I thought about a trike, but so attached to my 85, and can not afford

With the run of luck you have had I would volunteer to do the work if you were closer. I know how you feel as I also was hit head on and it took many years just to get on three wheels. I wish you all the luck.

Here is a link you may find interesting. It is to Trike Nation and the Tow Pac trike kits. They make them for the 1200 Goldwings.
