Removing aged Pin striping for a wine 1985 GL 1200 Aspencad
Is anybody aware of a decent way of removing the old fade dryed pi stripping from bags, fairings gas tanks extra, looks awful would like to remove it all. Also anybody in soutnern Ontario, aware of a good reasonable place to have n Oringainal seat recovered or restitched, seems starting to split open??

If it's the original factory pin striping, it's got clear coat on top of it, so you're going to have to use some acetone to remove the clear coat, remove the pin striping, then re-clear coat. Not an easy job.
If it's aftermarket pin striping, you can use a hot hair dryer (or a heat gun on low setting) to soften and peel it off, or oven cleaner will also sometimes do the trick.
