Lighting for tach and speedo

Post by wingerinsandiego »

What kind if aftermarket lighting is available to pu in, on, or around my GUAGES so I can see them on my 76 LTD? The OE set up sucks and I can barely read the GUAGES at night. The fuel guage I can see fine. Any ideas????

The bulbs in the gauges are probably just old. Over time, metal particles vaporize off the light bulb filaments and coat the inside of the bulb glass. The glass will look dark or shiny, and very little light gets out.

Try replacing them with a new set of very bright LEDs, I think you'll be happy with the results.
