Slow speed wobble

Post by RoadDawg »

I have a 2013 GoldWing ABS....about 21K on it...new tires at 18K. It has Centramatic Balancers on the wheels and a fork brace. Just recently I have experienced a slow speed wobble in on the handle bars and was not sure what caused it or how to resolve it. I know there have been similar issues from others in the past but would appreciate the advice of anyone. Not sure if the tire has went wonky or the rim is bent or what??

Thanks all..
Ken

We need a little more detail. At what speed does it happen? Does it happen when you're accelerating, decelerating, or at a steady speed? Does it happen if both of your hands are on the handlebars, or only if you take one (or both!) off?

sorry I should have given you more information..... it seems to happen between 20 and 30 km/h..... there is a slight vibration when both hands are on the bars..... when I take both off at the same time it is more pronounced..... when I take one hand off it is in between in terms of intensity. I cannot really tell if there is any vibration over 30 km/h?

neglected to mention that it seems to only happen at the consistent speed not while accelerating or decelerating.
