Head Light Modulator Static
I have a 93 wing. I installed a head light modulator and now have so much static thru the radio and intercom, as it modulates, that I really don't want to use it. I installed it as a safety device. What good is it if it makes so mush noise? Is there a way to fix this problem? Thank you all for your help.

Lots of us have the same problem. I replaced an older style but defective Kisan Pathblazer that worked fine with a new one that is crap. Newer technology isn't always better. Just cheaper to manufacture I'm guessing. Been suggested to build some sort of noise reduction filter. ??? I don't have a definitive answer for you however. Good luck!

What is the manufacture name and who is selling these static causing modulators? Got a link to it so other folks don't purchase. Can you return for refund?

Re: Head Light Modulator Static
I had a Kisan Pathfinder that also made a ton of noise on my GL1500 - the same manufacturer's unit did not do this on my GL1100.
I ended up building a rather large noise filter out of diodes, large electrolytic capacitors and a custom-wound toroid choke. It worked, but it's not an ideal solution for everyone.

I haven't tried to return nor have I talked to them yet. I purchased through Cyclemax so I'm guessing I can return it.

Re: Head Light Modulator Static
It is a pathblazer by kisan. From the research I have done since I installed this modulator and the problems I have encountered. It looks like if you have radio or intercom on your bike DON'T use this product. You must rewire or build something to fix the buzzing problem. I got this from CycleGiant and plan to send it back tomorrow. There should be a warning for bike owners who own a bike that this product won't work on without major modifications. I hope this will help anyone who plans on use this brand of modulator. If anyone knows of one that WILL work on a Wing please let me know. Thank You Wingrider93

Re: Head Light Modulator Static
I have no experience with a headlight modulator, so has anyone any thoughts on this:

Again, not from experience, is this item expensive at around $150?
