After Market CD for GL1100

Post by muf »

I was wondering if I purchased a normal CD Tuner designed for a motor car, if it would operate effectively when installed into a 1983 Aspe :? ncade, bearing in mind that it would be installed in a vertical and not horizontal position, has anybody attempted this with any luck ? :(

Some people have, but you will find that it will skip mightily on the smallest bumps - a motorcycle is not nearly as good at absorbing bumps as a car.

A stereo with an MP3 player instead of CD would work better.

Ok, Thank you for that, the cycle still has the original audio and CB system, however all the electrics have been removed inside the fairing, and I am looking at a way to replace it and be practical at the same time, thank you again, regards, muf
