tire info ?

am new to this forum but have a question. does anyone have experience with Nexen N5000 Tire P205/55R16 89H on a valkyrie interstate

I use Nexen tires on both cars and truck, but I'm not sure I'd use it on a motorcycle, only because they recommend a six inch wheel (5.5" to 7"). Motorcycles typically have a 3" rim (aprox.) and I'm not sure what stress the squeeze would do.

Heres a link to a Darkside tire data base, scroll down till you find your bike listed alphabetically. It looks like the Valk has either a 5 or 5.5 inch wide rim.
