Windshield Trim w/Amber LED Turn Signals on 2005

Post by Boricua Funk »

Hello Folks,
I really like the Kuryakyn Windshield Trim w/Amber LED Turn Signals and want to install it on my 2005 Wing. My concern is whether the 30 year medallion (right above the Honda label) will impede the installation. Your thoughts? Thank you.

I had a look around and did not find any comments about this issue either way. I would suggest you contact Kuryakin (the manufacturer) and ask them directly.

Incidentally, while looking around for this information, I *did* find quite a few people who reported that the double-sided tape that holds this trim in place tends to let go at high speeds, particularly in high temperatures. You might want to use some extra 3M tape when installing it to prevent this.

Thanks. Funny but I did call Kuryakyn (as well as Wing Stuff) and they both were "perplexed" since this issue was never bought to their attention before. Kuryakyn recommended that I take a look at their "install instruction" and gauge the measurement off the picture. Wow.
