GL1500 dunlop E3 Tires. What is the max Set of weights befor
I bought new set of E3 tires for my GL1500 Bike. And the back tire I have around 110 Grams of weight and is balanced. Someone said that anything over 30 grams is not good and tire is defective. I have tryed changing the position of tire on rim and always stay with tire and that same spot. What would you do?

110 grams is an awful lot of weight, I would really want to see at most 50 grams or so. That sounds like a defective tire to me.RHalbur482 wrote:I bought new set of E3 tires for my GL1500 Bike. most tires have a dot at the lightest part of the tire and that should be mounted at the valve stem

Thanks for the Replies.
I tried rotating the tire 4 times in different spots on rim. then tried to balance and the heavy spot was always the same area on the tire. I took the tire completely off and will send it back for a different rear tire.
