Re: Cruse Control stuck in open Position
What do you mean by OPEN position? If it the cruise ON light I would not worry about it. I put my cruise ON light when I buy a bike and never turn it off.
If it bothers you you can separate the handlebar switch and spray it with contact cleaner. My emergency flasher switch sticks and that is how I get to to nonstick. DO NOT USE WD 40 only a contact cleaner.

Yep, likewise. I put the cruise button in when I bought the bike and it has not been touched since.

Re: Cruse Control stuck in open Position
Since it is on you maybe better leaving it alone.
I recently bought a 1500 with a stuck switch. I took to it with contact cleaner. Now it won't stay on, so for the time being it is being held on with a broken toothpick. Sometime soon I'm going to tackle dismantling the cruise and hazard switch and fixing it properly.
Just so you know there is a kind of how to with some pictures on this or another GW forum.
