my 82 interstate has cruise control. stock or aftermarket?

my 82 has a lot of add ons the previous owner installed. one thing it has that i would like to know if it was a factory option or aftermarket is the cruise control. thanks for the help rick

have you tried to use the search feature on the forum yet? I typed in "gl1100 cruise" and it returned 1390 threads that have discussed in detail options and opinions on cruise control for the 1100. Dont get me wrong ,weall love to help out around here, you might just get a better answer to your question, faster if you use the search feature. If you cant find the answer there then ask any question you need an answer to. Hope this info helps you out

It is definately aftermarket. I owned an 82 (loved it) and bought it new. There weren't any Honda cruise controls on bikes then. But, there were some good aftermarket. I cannot remember the manufacturer of mine. I was a good one. I think it was Drag Specialties. Worked great. Be safe!
