Is this something that just started happening? How much free play is in the shifter?

Did some hunting and as it turned out shifter was binding on crash bar, I loosed the bolts and just a little adjustment and so far so good ,thanks for the response and as of now 1000 kms. since Feb 14th ,I`m really enjoying the goldwind ride, comfortable and reliable.

Is that a typo? Should it be a coldwind ride? You Northerners must be getting sick of that cold weather, storms, and being unable to rideI`m really enjoying the goldwind ride

Re: 1982 aspencade shifting problem
Began snowing before daylight this morning and hasn't let up yet. For most years in my recent memory we'll get a day or two like this about every winter. All of my liquid cooled vehicles have good antifreeze. The heat's working fine. I ain't going nowhere. Let it happen. This is Texas, not Wisconsin. Give it a few days and it'll be gone and forgotten.
