Is this something that just started happening? How much free play is in the shifter?

Did some hunting and as it turned out shifter was binding on crash bar, I loosed the bolts and just a little adjustment and so far so good ,thanks for the response and as of now 1000 kms. since Feb 14th ,I`m really enjoying the goldwind ride, comfortable and reliable.

Is that a typo? Should it be a coldwind ride? You Northerners must be getting sick of that cold weather, storms, and being unable to ride

Began snowing before daylight this morning and hasn't let up yet. For most years in my recent memory we'll get a day or two like this about every winter. All of my liquid cooled vehicles have good antifreeze. The heat's working fine. I ain't going nowhere. Let it happen. This is Texas, not Wisconsin. Give it a few days and it'll be gone and forgotten.
