clutch line replacement

Post by made2care »

I might have a cracked line. Does HEL sell these?I went to their website and i believe its only for the brake line.
The honda service manual shows the line comes in 2 parts, and another section is a metal line.
Has anyone changed their clutch hose. Are their any "how to's"?
My bike is a 1987 gl1200 interstate. thanks for your help.

oops, i guess IQ went a little stagnant there for a minute. I went ahead and PM the HEL gentleman on this. I guess what i was trying to get to was if anyone had purchased just the clutch line for their interstate, and how that all works, since the oem schematics show 2 parts connected to a metal line. Would the stainless line replace the whole thing. After all this, the clutch had better work better :P

If HEL doesn't already make it, you can measure what you have and they will make it for you. I had them manufacture some custom length lines for my wife's PC800 when i did modifications on it.
