frame paint code

I have a 1975 GL1000. I need to touch up the frame, the battery cooked and boiled out.
I have had no luck with the paint stores. I have had 2 recommendations for PJ1 frame epoxy. I would like the original paint code #. This bike has 7300 miles and is in super condition. I really don't want to tear it down and repaint the whole frame. Thanks

Did you look in the "Honda Goldwing Paint colors and codes" document on the manuals page?

Sure have. There is over 14 colors of black. I sure don't want to have 14 cans made.
Any chance of narrowing down?
