I have a 1984 GL1200.Today I went for a ride and when I was going around a right turn the bike wanted to go left .I am a new rider and was wondering if this is a front end trouble or a tire trouble once last year it happened to me also. What a Rush.Any suggestions

You say you're a new rider - I'm wondering if you're talking about countersteer.
When you say you tried to turn, what exactly are you trying to do when you turn, and the bike goes the other way? And how fast were you going when you did it?

Re: 1984 GL1200 steering trouble
I was going about 100k (55 miles per hr ) around a right hand turn and it seemed to want to go to the left just for a second ,so I slowed down and pulled of to the side of the road. Then I continued with no trouble for the rest of the day
